I'd suggest that you shut down as many programs as possible before you do the delete.

The information message in the diskcleanup program says, if it has been there for a week, it's probably safe toĭelete it. 0-9.txt" while read file do expr mat.

You must do it yourself or it will be there forever. Given files 0.9.txt in directories foo and bar, how can I remove those which are odd Ive come up with find. Going to get involved at the operating system level. The programs that put them there are supposed to clean them up. Simply put, Windows does not clean up temp files. So 'temp' folder could be 3 or 4 different locations, apparently none of which is what diskcleanup cleans up on my computer. I don't know what that was because even after deleting it, I have stuff in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Temp ~200MBĪn alternate location that I pointed %temp% to ~1GB If I choose the clean up system files button, it then shows temp files, but it said there was likeġ74KB in there. I'm running as a standard user and when I run disk cleanup, it does not even show a temp files option. Run Windows 10 in Safe Mode to Delete the File/Folder. If the problem is due to the Recycle Bin, you can select the target file for folder, and press Shift + Delete keyboard shortcut to permanently delete it. FYI, disk cleanup does not always delete these files. Press Shift + Delete to force delete a file or folder.
